Carbon Conversations TO provides a safe space for you to express concerns about climate change while gaining tools and resources to help reduce your carbon footprint. We help you work with the complex emotions that make it difficult to act and find renewed motivation.
Designed with the reputable Carbon Conversations materials developed by psychotherapist Rosemary Randal and engineer Andy Brown in the UK, we are pleased to apply this successful model to Toronto for the first time.
HOW IT WORKS
We will help you explore the relationship between your lifestyle and carbon emissions, giving you the clarity, tools and resources to develop your own approach to carbon reduction.
You are invited to join a series of intimate group sessions including the following topics:
Looking for a low-carbon future
Energy at home and at work
Travel and transportation
Food and water
Consumption and waste
At the end of the six-week series, we hope you will be better equipped to reflect on carbon reduction with yourself and your peers, applying your renewed motivation to create and follow through with your own climate action plan. We will be working together, answering questions, and sharing our diverse perspectives on climate action.
